JOB SUMMARY
As a licensed insurance agent, the candidate will assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. The candidate will provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of agency activities. This is a full-time, work from home position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for gathering the information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designated accounts sixty days prior to renewal and for delivering renewals and/or binders for designated accounts, as needed, within five days of receipt. Ensure that client receives and approves of renewal information. Requote if requested. Also, identify any cross-sell opportunities during 30-day call outs.
- Handles all agency claims including simple commercial lines claims filings to the companies.
- Performs special projects at the request of designated clients. Binders and/or policy or endorsement requests are to be completed same day.
- Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with client to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims.
- Ensure that all payment verifications are met (for renewals and current month) are verified
- Ensure that all new business policies (associated with third party affiliates) are submitted by the 27th of each month. Business bound after the 27th should be submitted daily to 3rd party affiliates
- Responsible for internal and external audit. Make sure that communication with partner agency and/or carrier requests is responsive and timely.
- Prepares rewrites and requotes for clients through carriers at least 30 days prior to renewal or upon client request.
- Answers phone calls. Makes changes to existing coverages and/or new policies. Completes endorsements/requests same day of receipt.
- Completes applications or endorsements as necessary; collects premiums when applicable.
- Reviews existing accounts to determine if additional lines of insurance should be solicited and does so by email and/or phone prior to renewal.
- Receives and reviews all policy terminations and cancellations to determine action to be taken, takes needed action same day of receipt, and adds x-date in software management system
- Handles premium payment and policy cancellation requests
- Follows up on outstanding claims and aids in their resolution, as necessary.
- Actively solicits accounts at every service contact when appropriate.
- Documents all material conversations with insureds and/or carriers in Ezlynx.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- A TDI Property & Casualty license is REQUIRED.
- Ability to use a personal computer, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Actsphere will provide a company laptop but employee must provide two computer monitors.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Professional phone etiquette.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a conscientious, motivated licensed insurance agent who enjoys working with people and helping them find the right coverage. This position requires assistance in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. The candidate will be expected to provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities and to show clients that they are respected and valued during all interactions. This is a work-from-home, part-time position that will evolve into a full-time position. Though this is a work-from-home position, our agency has a strong team approach to all our activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service and assist in the remarketing of current client policies
- Look for cross-sell opportunities when speaking with clients
- Complete Acord forms and COIs and ensure accuracy
- Process payments
- Conduct policy reviews/present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
- Process change requests to existing policies
- Assist clients in filing claims
- Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe
- Other functions as assigned by management
